Home Sweet Home

"Mid pleasures and palaces though we may rome,
Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home."

No that’s not a @IanJamesPoulter tweet about Formula 1 race cars and Arsenal Football Club crowds - but home is where the heart is for the swashbuckling Ian Poulter.

And on the eve of this 2012 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes, don’t think a maiden major victory on home soil would be anything less than “Ian”ormous for the patriotic “Polts.”

To commemorate The Open Championship, IJP Design has released an exceptionally designed new “Quintessentially British” limited edition putter cover that captures the brilliant charm and cheerful pulse of Great Britain herself.

“There is a real buzz building around this year’s Open Championship and with Ian playing in his home country, it seemed a natural fit to include Ian’s sketches of these iconic landmarks,” said Mark Truby, Managing Director of IJP Design.

Featuring distinctive British images such as double-decker buses, traditional phone booths, and majestic Big Ben, “Quintessentially British” is the third in a series of four limited edition putter covers created exclusively for each of this season’s four majors.

Each putter cover will be individually signed and numbered with a special silver tag and also include a red IJP Design ball marker and handsome protective lined tote bag.

"Quintessentially British" is limited to only 750 covers and will be available in both blade and mallet style versions at IJP Design for $69.95.
